I have always loved reading but these days I don’t always have the time to curl up with a book 📖

Honestly, this is the biggest launch that I have ever done and I am so proud of everything in it. Every product was created with busy mums and everyday life in mind, practical pieces that are so cute, fun and handmade with so much heart and thread 🪡
From book sleeves to all of the matching accessories, seeing this whole collection coming together has been such a special moment for me. 💙

Which do you prefer? Pretty or practical?
I am choosing both.
I used to sew my tote bag straps only at the top of the bag. And even though I reinforced them over and over again, sewing back and forth multiple times in different spots, they still were not strong enough for real life use.
After carrying heavy items for a while, one of the handles broke. 😢
So I changed the way I make tote bags 🧵
Now the straps run all the way down the sides of the bag for extra strength and structure. I sew them securely into the bottom seams, stitch them to the front and back panels and reinforce the top with an X so the weight is distributed properly.
I want my bags to not only be beautiful but durable enough to actually be used every day.
Handmade means consistently learning, improving and making things better and this change has made such a difference 💙

I found my cutting table again 🤣

I am going to have to do several launches with the different fabric choices, and I still have 3 products to add to the ones in this video. The one that I am working on now is the most exciting one for me to share soon.

Instead of ticking something off the list, I ended up making these fabric baskets for my sewing room, because let’s be honest organisation comes first 😁
I have made a large (new rubbish bin) and a medium (new clip holder) so far and I am planning to add a small to complete the set. Slowly but surely creating a space that feels just as good as the things I make it in. 💙
If you are a maker, you will get it - the list never ends, but every little project still feels like a win.
